About the Role
Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Assessor to support the effective delivery of the Licensed Electricians Assessment (LEA). This is a great opportunity to contribute to compliance, quality assurance, and collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct the Licensed Electricians Assessment (LEA)following established procedures
- Set up assessment rooms and verify candidate identity and eligibility
- Monitor candidates during assessments and ensure compliance with rules
- Distribute and collect assessment papers securely
- Record and report incidents or suspected breaches
- Respond to basic enquiries and assist the Lead LEA Assessor
- Maintain accurate records aligned with regulatory standards

Skills and Experience Required
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence
- Appropriate educational qualification
- Certificate IV in TAE Assessor Skill (minimum)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) preferable
- Recent industry experience
- Strong communication skills, especially in quiet assessment environments
- Awareness of candidate stress factors during assessments
- Understanding of Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) guidelines
