Automotive Technician

Garry's Mechanical Repair is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are running safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to contribute to the growth and success of our well-established automotive repair shop.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting various vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical components

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid flushes

• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components to restore vehicles to optimal condition

• Documenting all work performed and maintaining detailed records of completed jobs

• Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns

• Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring a clean and organised work environment
  
  
  

  What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a similar repair shop environment

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and resolve vehicle issues

  • Proficiency in the use of automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic software

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide high-quality customer service
