THE COMPANY
Chernco Engineering is a progressive
custom engineering company located in regional NSW. The company has a wide
range of capabilities entailing CNC Machining through large scale fabrication,
HD profile cutting and all manual tasks in-between. Our services include but are
not limited to; project work, batch processing and assembly manufacturing and
one-off jobs such as urgent repairs and break downs.
THE ROLE
Our dynamic company is in a stage
of rapid growth and is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Boilermaker
to join our team. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating
and assembling, according to specifications. This includes reading and
interpreting blueprints, performing welding, cutting, and shaping of materials,
and ensuring that all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal materials.
Repair and maintain metal equipment and machinery as
needed.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Boilermaker.
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or relevant
certification.
Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and
ARC.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and
blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work
independently.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and
procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
