Cazam Kitchens & Joinery is looking for a motivated Cabinetmaking Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a full-time apprenticeship where you'll work alongside experienced cabinetmakers, learning all aspects of the trade while completing your formal qualification. Overtime may be available during busy periods.

About the Role
As a Cabinetmaking Apprentice, you will learn and assist with:

Manufacturing and assembling custom cabinetry and joinery.

Reading and interpreting plans and drawings.

Operating woodworking machinery under supervision.

Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.

Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
-
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.

Working closely with experienced tradespeople to develop your skills.

Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
The successful applicant will:

Have a genuine interest in cabinetmaking and the woodworking industry.

Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn.

Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Take pride in producing quality work and paying attention to detail.

Be able to work well as part of a team.

Be physically fit and capable of manual work.

Hold a current driver's licence (or be working towards obtaining one) – desirable but not essential.

Be committed to completing a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology.
