About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Plumbing Teacher to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate student learning programs and resources
- Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
- Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment
- Participate in curriculum development, industry consultation, and quality assurance
- Provide leadership and support within the Plumbing department
- Embrace new technologies and continuous improvement strategies
- Participate in marketing, student selection, and induction processes
Skills and Experience Required
- Appropriate post-secondary qualifications and recent industry experience
- Registration as a Plumber in the State of Victoria
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred teaching
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of ASQA/VET compliance and quality assurance standards
