DRILL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

About the Role:

• We service, repair and rebuild Production/ Exploration Drill Rigs U/G and on Surface at various locations around the Goldfields which makes this an very unique opportunity to work in a very different environment to what you might be used to..... as we say never a dull moment. If you are like me it means you get to play with different toys every day. Our clients are the best too because they appreciate the effort and knowledge you put in to keep their rigs running at maximum capacity preventing those nasty breakdowns that would cost them a lot of money.
• You will be Kalgoorlie Based but will be required to travel to sites to perform services and breakdowns and Production/ Exploration Drill Rigs U/G and on Surface which also includes On Call Services on schedule.
• Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible to monitor the status and condition of electrical equipment and advise the client/ supervisor of any concerns or problem areas and complete all statutory checks and documents required.
• You need to be a driven individual willing to perform your duties both locally and withing WA areas.
• You will be required to be self sufficient but also be encouraged to discuss issues with your piers to resolve any issues that may occur.
• You will also assist in new and refurbished rig builds as required.
• You MUST have a valid WA D/License
• You MUST have a clear NPC
• You MUST be able to pass a Pre- Employment medical 
• You MUST pass DAS upon request.
