THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% superannuation.
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of appointment, with a 6-month qualifying period.
The Electrical and Engineering Department seeks a skilled and experienced educator for the role of Electrical Teacher to inspire future Electrical Trades students. With the unique opportunity to teach across three qualifications, you'll be able to showcase your expertise in electrical and appliance servicing classes, as well as delivering A grade and non-A grade licensed electrical units.

ABOUT YOU
- Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice.
- Experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
- Ability to convey knowledge, skills, and experience to a diverse student population through the selection and use of a wide range of teaching assessment strategies.
- An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40122); or predecessors as a minimum.
