The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated Qualified Electrician with both Solar PV and solar battery installation experience to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for installing residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage systems to the highest standards, supported by laborers and coordinated through our operations team. This is a long-term installer position with backing, structure, and consistency.
What You'll Be Doing

Install, test, and commission battery storage systems ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards

Complete solar PV system installations for residential and commercial clients

Manage site wiring, cable runs, tray installations, and neat electrical cutouts

Supervise assistants and manage time effectively on site

Identify project requirements and plan upcoming site work

Ensure all installations comply with CEC and safety standards

Work with leading technologies including Growatt, Sungrow, Solis, Alpha, Sigen, and Tesla
What We're Looking For
Essential:

Clean Energy Council (CEC) certified with Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) credentials for electricians

Experienced in battery storage installation and capable of managing the entire process.

Skilled in solar PV system installations or hands-on trade experience

Strong understanding of safe work practices and problem-solving abilities

Reliable, punctual, with excellent time management skills

Full working rights in Australia
Technical Skills:

Proficient in site wiring, cable runs, and tray installations

Neat electrical cutout work
-
Ability to work independently and supervise assistants
Engagement Options
Option 1: Permanent Full-Time Role

$200,000 + Annual salary

Stability with consistent pipeline of installations

Option 2: Full-Time Independent Contractor

Exclusive, full-time arrangement (negotiable for best candidate)

Best hourly rates as per industry standards

We handle COES, provide BOS and assign our own inspector.
