The role

The Galvanising Plant Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all the activities in our galvanising plant. This includes planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of production to ensure efficiency and quality in our operations.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the galvanising plant ensuring it meets the company's production targets and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor all plant activities, including the workforce, production process, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train, supervise and mentor plant staff to improve performance and achieve operational goals.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders for smooth operations.


The requirements

  • Previous experience as a foreman in a similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of galvanising processes and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
  • Must have understanding of the metric system for weights and measures
