Qualified Motor Mechanic – About the Role

You will perform mechanical servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a range of on road vehicles including cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Logbook servicing and general mechanical repairs
• Diagnose faults in engines, brakes, suspension, cooling systems, and drivetrains
• Use diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment
• Perform road tests to confirm repairs
• Maintain accurate job notes and follow workshop processes
• Keep a clean and safe work area (WHS compliant)

Requirements

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving ability
• Competency with workshop and diagnostic tools
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Extra licences (Air-Con/ Roadworthy) are a bonus
