Are you an experienced plasterer looking for an opportunity to join a friendly, easy-going team?

We are searching for a new plastering setter to work in our flexible family-friendly team. This is a permanent position with guaranteed ongoing work.

This role offers a chance to put your meticulous plastering skills to work as you work on a wide range of projects for clients big and small.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Reliably showing up on time and ready to work every day. Ready to greet the builder
Working on a variety of roles such as setting, cornice, metal framing and sheeting
Working on some of the most high-end Architectural homes in Brisbane
Running your own jobs and maintaining organisation skills
Training the next generation of plastering apprentices
Delivering a high level of finish with our 4-coat system, we encourage our team to slow it down, creating smooth clean lines, defect free.

About you

We’d love you to bring:

Setting experience essential
High degree of professionalism and reliability
Your own car and C-class driver’s license
Excellent time management and organisational skills

Desirable but not essential:

Your own boxes and internal gear (if not, we can help you in purchasing)
Previous experience in cornice work, metal framing and fixing

Full time permanent role	Subcontracting arrangement
No invoicing	Prepare, send and track invoices under your ABN
No need to manage your own tax and superannuation	Manage your own tax and superannuation
Minimum $37 per hour + guaranteed 38 hours/week	$55 per hour - including tax and superannuation. No guarantee of work
Superannuation paid on top of your rate	Pay your own super ie 11% out of your hourly rate
If you earn $1,406/week, we pay $154 super on top ($1,560)	If you earn $2,090/week, take $207 out for super ($1,883)
We manage your tax (approx. $300 per week) Approx. Minimum $1,106 in your hand	Look after your own tax (approx. $540 per week)* Approx $1,343 in your hand
Plus fuel card	Pay for your own fuel approx. $150 per week Approx. $1,193 in your hand
20 days paid annual leave per year	When you don’t work, you don’t get paid
Paid day off for your birthday or taken as a bonus
Paid for public holidays approx. 10 per year
Bank additional hours to use at your leisure (RDO)
10 days sick leave per year Use your sick leave/banked hours/ annual leave to watch your kids get a school award, run the cross country (or stay home with them when they’re sick)
Tools loan, get set up from day one and pay it off over time

Regular training available to continue to grow and upskill paid by your employer
