PRODUCTION MANAGER

THE COMPANY

Our company is a progressive custom engineering company located in regional NSW. The company has a wide range of capabilities entailing CNC Machining through large scale fabrication, HD profile cutting and all manual tasks in-between. Our services include but are not limited to; project work, batch processing and assembly manufacturing and one-off jobs such as urgent repairs and break downs.\

THE ROLE

This dynamic company is in a stage of rapid growth and is looking for a Production Manager who will lead a team of ten involved in a manufacturing process. The role is responsible for maximising efficiency of production whilst ensuring all tasks are performed in a safe and disciplined manner.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and overseeing the day to day running of the manufacturing process.

• Leading a team of eight personnel

• Ensuring a safe work environment

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a supervisory role

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work in a timely an efficient manner.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Mechanically astute
