Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skillful Painter or a quick learner to become apart of our team. We can be flexible to the right candidate with providing either full time or part time work. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various painting techniques, preparation of surfaces for painting, and maintaining painting equipment. You will play a key role in completing projects with our team that meet our high standards of quality while ensuring client satisfaction. Most of our jobs are located around the Logan area but can spread to Gold Coast or Northside of Brisbane. Must be able to work as a team and keep focus and quality when working alone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
• Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces
• Handle planning and prep work in an efficient manner
• Prepare the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
• Clean up supplies and replace fixtures after completing a job
• Able to complete interior and exterior work using required scaffolding

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional painter in residential homes, new builds and repaints
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail
• Blue/White construction card
• Reliable car and licence
