About the Role
This is a rare leadership opportunity to guide Engineering, Fabrication and Locksmithing programs across multiple campuses. You’ll lead and support a dedicated teaching team, drive innovation in delivery, and ensure programs remain relevant, compliant, and future-focused – shaping great outcomes for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and educational leadership across Engineering, Fabrication and Locksmithing
- Coordinate timetables, workloads, and resources to ensure smooth delivery
- Support and develop staff to build strong, cohesive teams
- Oversee compliance with Training & Assessment Strategies (TAS) and audit requirements
- Strengthen industry connections and validate programs for workforce needs
- Monitor budgets and contribute to long-term planning
- Drive continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes for students
Skills and Experience Required
You’re an experienced VET educator and leader who thrives on collaboration and impact. You’ll bring:
- A trade qualification in Engineering, Fabrication or Locksmithing
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in vocational education, with leadership or coordination responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of RTO compliance and vocational education policy
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and support teaching teams
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills

Successful candidate will be required to provide:
