Qualified Boiler Maker Fabricator

Transport Maintenance and Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Boilermaker /
Welder to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. This is a full-time permanent position
offering the opportunity to work on a variety of welding and boilermaking projects in a
dynamic maintenance and engineering environment. You will be responsible for
fabricating, assembling, welding and repairing for the maintenance of a variety of
heavy machinery, earthmovers, trucks, and trailers
Qualifications and Experience
The suitable applicant will have the following:

-AQF Certificate III Fabrication Trade, or equivalent, or relevant experience
-Proven experience in boilermaking, welding, or similar metal fabrication work
-Proficiency in multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick
welding
-Sound knowledge of welding safety practices and ability to work in
compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations
-Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in varied conditions
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
-Current driver's licence is advantageous
Remuneration

The salary package will be in the range $75,000 to $85,000 per annum subject to
skills and experience
