About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Landscaping Teacher to join our Food Fibre and Animal Industries team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
- Support student engagement, attendance and outcomes
- Maintain teaching and compliance documentation
- Participate in industry consultation and curriculum development
- Provide pastoral and academic support to students
- Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and resources
- Mentor and support entry-level teachers (L2 and L3 responsibilities)
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills in landscaping
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- VET teaching experience, preferably in landscaping or related fields
- Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication and ICT skills
- Ability to design inclusive curriculum and adapt to diverse learner needs
