About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Plumbing Teacher to deliver engaging, industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and assessment for Plumbing Certificates II, III & IV and associated qualifications.
- Develop and evaluate student learning materials and resources.
- Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate teaching and compliance documentation.
- Participate in industry consultation, curriculum review, and marketing activities.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Ensure vocational competence and compliance with quality standards.
Skills and Experience Required
- A relevant Degree, Diploma or Trade Certificate in Plumbing.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent, including TAEASS502 and TAELLN411).
- Minimum two years’ experience as a qualified plumber with a current plumbing industry commission license.
- Sound knowledge of related building trades.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and relevant technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
- Experience in diverse teaching strategies and understanding of AQTF standards.
- Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, and continuous improvement.
