Your key responsibilities:

  • Fit, repair, and maintain tyres on trucks, trailers, and earthmoving equipment.
  • Monitor fleet tyre performance, addressing damage, and wear issues.
  • Assess and diagnose tyre-related problems for our valued customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues like wheel balancing, tyre, wheel, and rim damage, and wear.
  • Conduct rotations, pressure checks, balancing, and puncture repairs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Adhere to company and industry standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with the completion of relevant documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Conduct after-hour call-outs as required to ensure prompt service for our clients.
  • You're reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You possess a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a proactive approach.
  • You bring a positive, can-do attitude.
  • You're a team player.                                                                                                                                                     

    Essential skills and experience to keep the wheels turning smoothly:

    • Light - Passenger car & 4WD
    • Heavy - Road trucks, prime movers, trailers, buses, etc.
    • Industrial - Forklifts, etc.
    • A Manual/light truck license.
    • Demonstrated industry experience in tyre fitting.
    • A self-driven, can-do attitude.
    • Pass D&A (Drug and Alcohol) testing.

     

    Desirable Tyre Fitting experience:

    • Agricultural tyre fitting
    • OTR - Off the Road, Earthmoving, etc
    • Handling multi-piece wheels/rims.
    • Hold a Certificate II in Tyre Fitting - Light
    • Hold a Certificate II in Tyre Fitting - Heavy (Trucks)
    • Hold a Certificate II in Tyre Fitting - OTR
