About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hard-working Yard Hand to join our team based in Darwin. This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same — you'll be a key part of keeping our yard running smoothly and safely.
Whether you're already working in the transport industry or you're keen to break into it, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
What You'll Be Doing
- General yard duties including loading, unloading, and organising stock
- Assisting with the movement and positioning of vehicles and equipment
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
- Supporting drivers and operations staff as needed
- Following safety procedures and site policies at all times
What We're Looking For
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude — that's the most important thing
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in Darwin's climate (yes, that includes the wet season!)
- A current driver's licence (HR/truck licence is a big bonus but not essential)
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential
- Good communication and the ability to work well in a team
- Reliability and punctuality
