Qualified Auto Electrician 

You will diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults
• Install and service alternators, starter motors, batteries, wiring & lighting
• Work with ECUs, sensors, CAN bus systems & scan tools
• Install aftermarket accessories (LEDs, radios, alarms, cameras, GPS, etc.)
• Follow workshop procedures and complete job documentation
• Read wiring diagrams and technical schematics

Requirements

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician
• Strong electrical fault finding skills
• Competency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• ARCtick licence (prefered or willing to obtain)
